American Aerospace Warranty

OVERHAUL AND REPAIR SERVICES WARRANTY POLICY (as of 07/15/2003)

American Aerospace Corporation, (herein referred to as AAC), warrants to our customer that all units will be repaired / overhauled in accordance with OEM specifications and will be free from defect in material and workmanship with respect to the repaired or overhauled portions of the unit, provided that AAC shall have no liability for any parts which are normally consumed in operation or which have a lifespan that is shorter than the warranty period. AAC's liability shall be limited to replacement of the defective parts and / or correcting the faulty workmanship. AAC shall have no liability for consequential, incidental or any other damages, relating to the products or services provided.

OVERHAULED UNITS

The period of this warranty shall be (12) months from the date of first installation in an Aircraft, not to exceed a period of (16) months from the date of shipment from AAC's facility.

REPAIRED UNITS

The period of this warranty shall be (12) months from the date unit is shipped from AAC's facility.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

Units must be received in an “As Removed” condition to be eligible for warranty consideration. Any unit received with externally damaged and / or missing parts, will void the warranty eligibility. Warranty will not apply if; units are disassembled or seals broken or missing internal parts or evidence of any tampering exists. The warranty shall not apply to any unit that has been rendered defective by reason of improper storage or installation, misuse, neglect or accident or which has been repaired or altered by another facility.

Warranty acceptance may be full or partial. A warranty may be accepted with no charge to the customer or may result in partial charges. Upon acceptance of warranty claim, the unit will continue to have warranty coverage, in effect, for the time remaining on the original service.

VALUE ADDED SERVICES

AAC will not impose any minimum charges, or fees relating to units that are determined to be beyond economical repair (BER) or for no faults found (NFF). There are no charges for “Return as is” or for scrapping at our facility.
